Summer is in full swing and that means it's the perfect time to avoid the miscreants at the beach, pool, lake, or other body of water that attracts the congregation of beswimsuited individuals. The sun is out and you don't want to get skin cancer. Now you're probably thinking "But Jacbo, what do I do if I'm not listening to hot summer jams by the watering hole?". What if I told you that you could instead venture into the damp and dark tomb of a demon demigod to die dozens, nay hundreds of times with others just like you?
Sounds too good to be true, I know. But you're in luck, because one week from today on June 20th the Tomb of Sargeras raid unlocks, complete with new environment based mechanics and paving the way for the invasion of the Legion homeworld of Argus. And we just so happen to have a stalwart band of adventurers which will be diving in face first and are looking for more skeletons to resurrect intrepid raiders. And if you can't wait a week, well you're in luck, because Patch 7.2.5 released TODAY. So you can start preparing for your demise right now!
Our raid times for ToS are the same as they were for Nighthold, Tues/Thurs 7:30-10:00 PM PST. For the low price of a sub and a few hours per week, you can make the most of your summer AND save the universe from impending doom. You might even enjoy it. And just think of all the medical and child support bills you won't have to pay since you didn't stub your toe jumping in the pool and hookup with that lifeguard. We're doing you a favor, take control of your life and get raiding.
But what if you have been gone from the game for a bit or never got started? A new tier is the perfect time to hop in, the leveling is quick and we can gear a new main in under a week. For other systems there are catchup mechanics in place. If you have questions, feel free to find me on TS or message me on [social platform here] and I'll give you the raw deets.
In non-WoW news, Destiny 2 is coming to PC and the Blizzard launcher later this year and a few of us are going to give it a whirl on the side. More news and plans for other anticipated game releases when they get dates.
